We keep the rules short. They exist so that everyone staying here — including you — gets a decent night's sleep and a clean kitchen.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours are 23:00 to 08:00. Sound carries between rooms more than you would think. Please keep voices, music and video calls low during these hours, and use headphones.
Check-in and check-out
- Check-in from 15:00 to 23:00 using the door code we send you on the day.
- Check-out by 11:00. Please strip nothing and take nothing — just leave the room as you found it.
- Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out. Ask us and we will show you where.
Smoking
The building is 100% smoke free, including e-cigarettes and vapes. There is a designated smoking area on the balcony. Smoking inside triggers the fire alarm and will be charged as a deep-clean fee.
Kitchen
- Wash, dry and put away everything you use, straight after you use it.
- Label food you leave in the fridge with your name and check-out date.
- Anything unlabelled or left behind after check-out is thrown away on Sundays.
Shared bathrooms
They are cleaned daily, but between cleans they are only as good as we all leave them. Please take your toiletries back to your room and leave the shower clear for the next person.
Guests and visitors
Only registered guests may stay overnight. Visitors are welcome in the common areas until 22:00 — please let us know they are coming.
Safety
- Do not prop open the main door. The door code is what keeps the building secure.
- Do not share your door code with anyone outside your booking.
- Candles, incense and portable cooking equipment are not permitted in rooms.
- Fire exits are marked on the back of each room door. Please look at them when you arrive.
Damage and lost property
Accidents happen — tell us and we will sort it out sensibly. Deliberate damage is charged at cost. Lost property is held for 30 days and we are happy to post it on at your expense.
Alcohol and behaviour
A drink is fine. Behaviour that makes other guests uncomfortable is not, and we will ask you to leave without a refund if it comes to that. This applies to harassment of any kind, without exception.
